Planning to join us regularly?
We gather as women and femmes to share, to support, and to remember.
Embodied is a space to slow down and notice how we feel, what we carry, what we need, and what we long for.
Many of us have learned to care for others, keep going, make ourselves smaller, or set aside what we feel and need. Together, we explore how gendered expectations, relationships, culture, inherited patterns, and social conditions have shaped how we feel, respond, relate, and move—without assuming our experiences are the same.
Rooted in somatics, gatherings include centering, body awareness, gentle movement, guided reflection, creative expression, and intentional conversation. These practices invite us to listen for the wisdom within and among us and discover what we want to carry into daily life.
We cultivate relative safety through care, consent, choice, confidentiality, respect for difference, and the freedom to participate at our own pace. There is no pressure to speak, move in a particular way, or share more than you choose.
No previous experience is required. Attend once or return throughout the season.
Rooted. Connected. Aligned with what matters.
Collective Rest Experiences
For women and femmes
Collective Rest Experiences are guided gatherings for rest, reflection, and connection. Informed by Tricia Hersey’s work through The Nap Ministry and rooted in Yoga Nidra—often translated as “yogic sleep”—they invite us to step out of urgency and overdoing, listen to the body, and experience the co-regulating support of resting together within the relative safety we create for one another.
Our relationships with rest are shaped by social conditions—including gendered expectations around work, caregiving, productivity, and how our worth is measured. Together, we practice resting without having to earn it, prove our exhaustion, or turn rest into a tool for doing more. Gatherings include somatic centering, gentle movement, reflection, guided Yoga Nidra, and intentional connection.
Rest is not the end of the journey. It can help us return to center, reconnect with who and what we care about, and move through our lives with greater clarity and intention. Together, we reclaim rest not as a privilege, but as a birthright.
